About me
Do you struggle with feeling disconnected from yourself and others?
Do you put your needs at the bottom of the to-do list? Do you wonder if life should feel somehow better? Happier?
Now more than ever, people are feeling anxious, overwhelmed and uncertain about how they are supposed to manage their relationships, careers and their lives. Pushing away your needs and not taking time for yourself can lead to long-term issues for your mind and body. I believe it shouldn’t be so hard to live a better life. I offer my services online and in-person, including a unique "walk and talk" option that combines the therapeutic benefits of nature on the Isle of Bute.
I offer a custom approach for each my clients, I start with understanding where you are now and the challenges you are facing. I will support in finding out how you can begin to move forward and together we celebrate your successes along the way. I offer an inclusive, safe space with in-person or virtual appointments to suit your schedule.
Helping people live a better life is my passion. It might mean learning to set boundaries, working through a loss, a life transition or helping you change a pattern of behaviour that is keeping you stuck. My goal is to help you feel better so you can live the life you’ve always dreamed of! Contact me today so we can get started on your journey.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
As a counsellor, I have worked with many issues some more complex than others and I can guarantee that you will feel heard, safe, validated and able to talk openly about what it means and feels like to be you.
My modality revolves around being non-judgemental and transparent with you the client. While I am Person-Centred trained, I may lean on other modalities during our sessions if this feels relevant to the discussion we are having, however what I won't do is 'steer' the sessions - I believe you the client knows best what hurts and what you would like to discuss, what I will do is support you through this process and walk beside you. Not behind, or in front, but by your side.
