Maryam Shadmani Registered memebr of MBACP
I am a fully qualified integrative and psychodynamic counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
I work with both individuals and couples. I use both Humanistic and Psychodynamic intervention in my practice. As a Humanistic integrative counsellor and psychotherapist; I will adapt my approach to best fit with your personal circumstances and needs.
I strongly believe that it is important when looking for a therapist that you find the right one for you. I think that's the most important part of your therapy to find someone who you can trust and build therapeutic relationship with. My practice is based on developing therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, respected and not judged. I provide a safe confidential place for talking about your feelings and make sense of them.
Whatever your reason for looking into therapy, we can discuss during an initial appointment, and you can decide if you would like further sessions. Therapy can be useful to help with many common aspects of life, such as depression and anxiety, stress, family issues, trauma, abuse, among many others. it can be an opportunity to find a way to explore difficult experiences that can happen to all of us in life, in a non-judgemental setting.
Please contact me to arrange an initial appointment.
