I offer private individual counselling in a compassionate and confidential space at my private practice in St Margaret’s, TW1.
My approach allows you the opportunity to tell your story and gives you the chance to explore feelings and thoughts, in your own time and at your own pace. As a counsellor, I listen in a non-judgemental way and support you, as you uncover and understand what has been troubling you. I can add clarity or prospective, in a way perhaps those close to you cannot.
Choosing a counsellor who you trust is important, and a first meeting is a chance for you to ask any questions, before deciding if you are comfortable for us to work together. I will also honestly assess if I am the right person for you, given your concerns and expectations.
If you feel comfortable, then our work continues and we can agree a schedule and time scale. I offer both short and open ended counselling, with regular reviews. My aim is for your to feel supported and to reach a point where you are better equipped to cope with the future.
To doubt your own abilities is part of being human, however, with the right conditions we all have the capacity to understand what is holding us back and discover the best path for our future.
By considering counselling, you have taken a great first step and I am here to support you as you take the next one .Please do email or call me, in confidence, with no-obligations.

I also worked for 4 years at The Place2Be Charity (www.place2be.org.uk) as a School Counsellor, offering early intervention for children in schools. Children range from 5 years up to teenagers, with issues as diverse as relationship breakdowns, trust, boundaries, abandonment, loss and abuse.
Prior to retraining as a counsellor, I spent 15 years in the corporate world. I find that this experience adds to my understanding and appreciation of the challenges faced in the busy world today.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
