About me

My name is Ann Price i am a fully qualified BACP registered counselor and holistic therapist with 12 years practicing experience. I have worked within a wide range of professional settings including a private residential rehabilitation clinic for addiction with both addicts and family members an all woman's out reach center, within a G.P's practice as well as in private practice. I have experience with a wide variety of age groups from young people to the elderly. My training is therapeutic and integrative, incorporating a variation of approaches to suit the needs of the individual person. Through out my years of continual learning and personal development, i have been lead to using more of an over all holistic approach which has proven to be successful with many problematic areas of concern, particularly stress management, anxiety and panic attacks. This concept of approach uses a variation of techniques incorporating the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual self. life can often present us with many daunting challenges and obstacles, which can at times leave us feeling over whelmed. I offer a confidential, non judgmental environment, in which to explore your thoughts feelings and actions whilst assisting you to unravel and achieve insight thus gaining clarity helping you to move forward with your life.I also offer the option of CBT based life coaching using a variation of directive strategies, relaxation techniques and guided meditation to help alleviate fears, phobias and also change negative thought and patterns of behaviors.A combination of counselling and life coaching can assist in enhancing positive therapeutic change.Previous client comments:.. Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
