About me

I am a fully qualified psychotherapist and hypnotherapist based in Meols on the Wirral. My service is completely confidential and clients are discreetly welcomed here by myself. My aim is to put clients immediately at ease. I recognise that the hardest step is to make contact and to come for the initial session and so I place a great emphasis on making people feel valued and respected. Making contact and attending a first session can be a daunting prospect, but I have not yet seen a client who has not then chosen to begin therapy.

"How Do I Get in Touch?"

By telephone (07771693602) - all I will need to find out is your name and when you can come
By text (07771693602) - just suggest a few times you could come and I will text back with a suggestion
By email ( or via this site

My practice room is a private and peaceful space where my clients say they feel secure and relaxed. I offer a range of therapeutic approaches within an integrative model. I will have a brief telephone or face to face (free) chat of around 20/30 minutes when we will agree whether I feel I can help and if you want to proceed with a first session. My sessions are a full hour in length (£40 or £30 depending on circumstances). Through my counselling work I try to respond to the growing local demand for my services from people of all ages and backgrounds. I offer face to face counselling for individuals and I lead training events. I offer guidance on meditation and mindfulness techniques rooted in my teaching experience and forty years of spiritual practice.

Training, qualifications & experience

As well as being highly qualified as a therapist, my wealth of experience in education, health and care settings and industry; inform and enrich my approach. I also completed a M.A. which included modules on The Psychology of Religion and Anthropology. I have taught meditation for over thirty years in a wide variety of settings.

The Initial Consultation of 20/30 minutes over the telephone or in person is FREE. However, most people decide to continue on from this into a first session which is chargeable at my normal rate.

Fees are normally £40 but I will reduce this to £30 for students and those on low incomes.
