Hello, my name is Mark, I am an experienced therapeutic counsellor and help others like you explore ways of coping with issues that occur in life. I have helped others with stress, depression, phobias work related issues, relationships, abuse, rape, bereavement, illness, overcoming trauma .....
It may be difficult and challenging for you to talk about your thoughts and feelings. From my encounters with others, regarding their issues I can say counselling can help in processing inner thoughts and explore ways of coping. I am supportive, respectful and genuine and will offer you secure and a non-judgmental surroundings to share your issues and explore with you ways forward to being able to tackle the challenges that arise.
I am here to provide you a professional, confidential and safe environment from my practice from home, using a ground floor room. With off street parking. There are also good transport links with a overground station near by.
Areas of interest and experience
I am Integrative (Humanistic) trained counsellor. This enables me to draw on my knowledge,training and experience of other therapeutic approaches, which can be tailored in a 'client centred' way to help address an individual's needs.
I offer short term or long term counselling as necessary.
I am a member of British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy BACP and adhere to their ethical framework of good and safe practice, which include regular supervision and on-going training

I have nearly 4 years’ experience as a counsellor at a local N.H.S. Doctor's surgery in Enfield, and have experienced and helped with issues regarding depression, anxiety, phobias, bereavement, relationships, rape , sexual abuse work/ stress related issues including bullying and discrimination.
I am a volunteer counsellor at The Enfield Nightingale Cancer Support Agency supporting cancer sufferers and carers.
I run a private practice from home in quiet & comfortable surroundings & offer ground floor access & parking.
