Dr Mark Rackley CPsychol AFBPsS
I have many years experience in working as a Psychologist in both the UK and Ireland. My work involves helping adults, couples and adolescents (age 13 and above) who are dealing with depression, anxiety and other difficulties.
I am trained in a variety of psychological therapies, including person-centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy. I work by integrating the therapies I am trained in with the needs of my client.
My psychological therapy with my clients is collaborative. I very much believe in treating every client as an individual. My approach to my psychological therapy with my clients is about applying the psychological therapy to the client and not vice versa, thereby creating a supportive, therapeutic space for the client. I treat adults and also adolescents (age 13 and above with parental consent). I have a keen interest in Aviation Psychology and am a member of The European Association for Aviation Psychology, working with the crew of major airlines.
I also work with the media, commenting on psychological matters for TV, radio and magazines.
