About me

Hello, my name is Mark.  I'm a BACP registered integrative counsellor offering counselling sessions through secure video call or telephone.

I believe that the relationship between client and counsellor is the fundamental element for positive changes for those that I work with.  I have several years experience of working almost entirely through telephone and video call and have been able to see the results of developing strong therapeutic relationships using these platforms.

I also believe working in this way allows my clients flexibility, it may not always be possible for someone to travel to visit a therapist, so being able to work over the telephone or online enables clients to work in a space where they feel comfortable and secure.

If you would like to talk about how to start counselling with me, please either send me an email or give me a call.  If I don't answer the phone, please do leave me a message and I will call you back as soon as I can.

Training, qualifications & experience

Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling - 2018.

Approximately 3 years experience working in the charity sector supporting busy professionals through the delivery of online, telephone and face to face counselling sessions.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
