About me

Do you want help with self-confidence, low self-esteem, belief systems, variable moods, desired core feelings, feeling good and well being? Do you want to relieve your anxiety and lack of motivation by talking about your fears and issues? I can help you improve your confidence and self-esteem through Counselling.

I specialise in Grief and Loss Counselling. Grief varies with each person and the relationship you had with the person you have lost. People experience grief in a variety of emotions, including sadness, guilt, regret, denial and blame. I can help you explore and release your emotions in a safe and nurturing environment.

I also offer Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), which is a short-term goal-focused and evidence-based therapeutic approach which helps clients change by finding solutions rather than dwelling on problems. SFBT is a hope friendly, positive emotion eliciting, future-oriented therapy for formulating, motivating, achieving, and sustaining desired behavioural change.

Over the years, I have experienced times of grief, lack of confidence and self-esteem, self-sabotage and procrastination. I know what it feels like to feel like you are restricted, blocked, and "walking through treacle".  Been there, broke loose from the habits and patterns that held me back and got the Tee Shirt and DVD! I can help you do the same.

All Therapy Sessions are £18.00 per hour throughout Covid and held online via Zoom. Ring me on 07488 330095 or 0115 822 4674 for a free chat about what you can achieve with my help, or please check out my website at

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Having a background that spans both Conventional and Complementary Therapies, I strongly believe that a holistic and rounded approach to health and well-being requires a balance of both; addressing all levels of being – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Using my training and experience in Person-Centred Counselling and Spiritual Lifestyle Coaching, I am able to lead individuals to a greater understanding of who they are and where their issues lie – so uncovering their purpose and individual path to healing.
