About me

I can assist clients in these areas: Anxiety, Anger, Assertiveness training, overcoming Affairs or betrayal, Bereavement, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Chemsex recovery, Child abuse, Depression, Family Issues, Feeling sad, Relationship issues, Mood Disorders, Panic Disorder, Physical & Psychological abuse, Phobias, Seperation or Divorce, Sexuality, Stress management and reduction, Trauma

I also have particular interest and specific training in Infant attachment, child abuse and helping people who developed in alcoholic, violent or narcissistic households.

My experience over the years has taught me that theory is helpful but what happens in successful therapy is not purely dictated by it. No one size fits all and no specific therapeutic model has all the answers. Therapy should reflect the diversity of the cultures within society now and what may work for one person will therefore not necessarily fit someone else.

The way in which I work also reflects today's lifestyles so as well as working in person in a safe, quiet and confidential office in The West End of London , I also offer online therapy using Skype, Facetime & Whatsapp for clients who are either travelling or situated in other parts of the world.

Training, qualifications & experience

DC Psych, Post Graduate Level Diploma in Psychotherapy.

I am an Integrative Therapist meaning that I use a number of different “modalities” in order to best help you. You don’t use a spanner for every bit of DIY and therapy is the same. My foundational training is in NLP, CBT and Mindfulness with further specific training in Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Shame resilience work, Attachment and Schemas, Weightloss, Childhood trauma and Narcissistic dynamics.

I offer free initial phone assessments and to discuss your needs. Then in your initial session if within the first half an hour you don’t feel I am the right therapist for you, you can leave without charge. This also affords me the time to check that I can help you - otherwise I will suggest alternatives treatments for you.
