About me
Have you experienced a sense of being misunderstood or feeling disconnected from those around you, or not understanding your own thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I provide a holistic approach which integrates diverse elements of psychology and psychotherapy, collaborating with you to address any challenges you may be facing. To ensure a comfortable and informative start, I offer an initial free 20-minute consultation, allowing you to ask questions and gain insight into the collaborative process. My collaborative approach fosters a profound partnership, enabling us to explore your psychology together. This journey facilitates a deeper understanding of yourself, empowering you to navigate your wellbeing with clarity and purpose. With a passionate and dedicated commitment, I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals navigating mental health challenges.
Having engaged with a diverse array of mental health issues, disabilities and disorders through working with the NHS, NHS staff, Psychiatric unit, Brain Injury Recovery, and as a School Based Children's Counsellor with 6 years experience. I embrace a therapeutic philosophy that recognises the intricacies of each human brain. No label, diagnosis or assessment can truly encapsulate the complexity of simultaneous neural connections occurring within us at any one given moment. Therefore, understanding oneself involves a comprehensive exploration of thoughts, feelings, behaviour, as well as recognising our beliefs, perception of the world and those around us, and the injustices encountered. This journey helps illuminate how your distinctive psychology has shaped your identity today. When we are unaware of our own narrative, it becomes challenging to comprehend ourselves fully. My philosophy is rooted in providing you with the space to discover and embrace your true self, promoting positive mental health.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
