Are you feeling lost, unheard? You needn't be alone. I'm an experienced counsellor offering a peaceful confidential environment where you can explore current or past problems that seem hard to manage (optional free 30 minute initial session). With support and space consider your best way forward, counselling can give you an opportunity to have a say about your life.
Having worked in caring professions for many years I continue to recognise how everyone's needs are individual.
My passion to help people continues. With wide, varied experience I work warmly and sensitively at your pace, without telling you what to do.
Overwhelming, challenging problems sometimes feel easier with a helping hand. With empathy and understanding I remain open without judging you or issues important to you, like:
- feeling stuck, as though you're at a crossroads in your life,
- sad, unhappy,
- low self-esteem,
- dissatisfied with your life,
- domestic violence,
- abuse (physical, emotional, sexual),
- eating disorders,
- bereavement - loss, death, divorce, redundancy.
Your sessions are an opportunity for you to have a voice.
I offer daytime and evening sessions Monday-Friday, and also Saturday morning/afternoon sessions. All are available on a short or long-term basis with availability often at short notice.
My comfortable counselling room is in my home in Lower Earley within easy reach of Reading, Wokingham, Woodley, Twyford, Bracknell and the M4/A329M. I also offer home visits if this is more convenient for you.
The number and frequency of sessions you have is your choice so enabling you to decide what feels right for you.

Parking is usually available outside my home and bus/train routes are nearby. I can send/give you directions on request as necessary.
