About me

Thank you for stopping to read my profile and welcome. It is often difficult to take the first steps to seeking support and the chance to talk about issues that you feel you are unable to talk to anyone else about.

I am offering to work with clients in a compassionate and sensitive way, within a safe and confidential space for you as an individual to feel accepted and not judged,

I am an experienced integrative therapist, working primarily in a person-centred way, offering a warm, approachable and confidential space for the you to build a trusting relationship between us that will allow you to be able to talk freely and without judgement about your concerns.

I also draw on several therapeutic approaches to suit the individuals needs, such as Cognitive behavioural therapy(CBT) & Transactional Analysis (T/A). I work with individuals and couples and I have considerable experience in working with bereavement and loss, including child bereavement, stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, suicide, relationship difficulties, life changes, workplace challenges and living with chronic illness and disability.

What to expect

Counselling will give you the chance to explore issues that you feel you are unable to talk to anyone else about however close they are to you.

My belief is that the relationship between the counsellor is fundamental to successful therapy.
It is essential that you able to connect with your therapist and that you feel safe and secure in knowing that you are able to talk openly.

The next step

During our first session it will be 'A getting to know' opportunity, during this initial 30 minute introductory session you will be able to ask questions and gain some understanding of how counselling may support you. You will know by the end of the session if you want to proceed and we can together talk about some ideas for moving forward.

Getting in Contact

If you feel ready to make contact please call me, text me or email.
Once we have spoken we can arrange a suitable time for you to come along to my practice in Towcester.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
