About me

I am an experienced English and Italian speaking Counselling Psychologist providing psychological therapy for individuals experiencing a wide range of difficulties.

Therapy for me means working together to gain an understanding of what is going on for you in a safe, nonjudgmental and confidential space. I understand that sometimes it's hard trying to control your world (professional, personal and financial) whilst also trying to manage your emotions, as these can cause real stress and lead to anxiety, depression as well as other difficulties. These feelings may also not come up as you would expect, such as difficulty sleeping, change in appetite and loss of interest or difficulty in doing things, which might be due to concerns arising from recent events or long standing issues.

As every person is unique I tailor therapy to best fit your needs whilst drawing from a range of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-Centre, Trauma Focused, Narrative Exposure and Psychodynamic therapy.

I practice privately in Marylebone area, which is easily accessible by transport as well as offer online video therapy. Please feel free to email me at marina@w1psychologyclinic.com or call and leave me a message and I will call you back. I offer a free 15 minute consultation via telephone to discuss your needs and we can then decide the best way forward. I hope you will take a moment to contact me and see how I can help.

Training, qualifications & experience

Raised in Italy and attending an American International school, I understand what it means to adjust to a different city and culture.

Over the years, I have gained clinical experience working with anxiety, low self-esteem and self-confidence, emotional neglect, stress, prefectionism, relationship problems, work-related stress, low mood, pain management and trauma across different NHS settings including hospital, GP surgery, community and specialist trauma as well as pain management services.

I hold a strong personal interest of working with life adversities, anxiety, emotional neglect, work-related stress, anger management and relationship issues.

Currently, I work in the city for a private healthcare company providing therapy to a range of professionals in banking, legal and tech companies.
