I offer Individual brief/long term Counselling/Psychotherapy/ Life Coaching and welcome clients from all walks of life, ethnicity, faiths and beliefs.
They are offered my acceptance, empathy, respect and as a non judgemental therapist I believe very much in developing a relationship built on trust. My work is confidential and supportive, can be interactive yet always deeply hearing and supporting my clients through their therapeutic journey.
My experience is very comprehensive and includes working with low self confidence/esteem, depression/low mood, post natal depression. anxiety/stress related issues, panic attacks, anger management, assertion, being bullied, work/career and relationship issues, physical/emotional/sexual abuse, difficulty making decisions, loneliness, self harming, disturbing thoughts/memories, family problems. seasonal affected disorder (SAD) affairs and betrayals separation/divorce, bereavement, loss, childbirth and other life changing events.
As a qualified Humanistic therapist my Core model is Person Centred underpinned by an Integrative framework which includes Transactional Analysis (T.A) and Mindfulness Cognitive Therapy (CBT)
Trained and Registered with the Dr Edward Bach Foundation for many years, I am a Holistic Therapist who qualified prior to my Counselling training in Aromatherapy and Reflexology.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
My fees are:
£50 a session for face to face, online, telephone, and Skype/Zoom/Teams therapy.
My availability is flexible with predominately mornings between 9.30 am and 1pm currently available, including Saturdays.
If possible I offer new clients a 50 minute initial assessment as soon as required. This is usually within a week, and sometimes may be possible within 24/48 hours. I try to keep one or two sessions available for any urgent Appointments.
My initial assessment appointment helps you to ascertain whether you feel I am the right Counsellor/Psychotherapist for you, and best able to meet your needs.
I offer a confidential short phone chat prior to this if required. This where I invite you to ask any questions of me that you may have. For those who might not have previously worked with an experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist I recognise that you may feel initially apprehensive. I therefor try to reassure wherever possible, thereby assisting you hopefully to feel more at ease.
My response to any message via phone, text or email is usually within the same day either to make an appointment, or if there is a question regarding therapy you might wish to ask me.
