Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I have worked with many students of all ages over the years both in General Practice and privately. Reasons presented by students can be varied including difficulty adapting to a change of school, college, university, facing examination stress, or suffering from bullying.
My fees are:
£45 per 50 minute session online, telephone, skype/zoom therapy is available
My availability is flexible. In addition to 10am - 6.30pm. I have some Saturday morning appointments and other times may possibly be available on request.
If possible I offer new clients a 50 minute initial assessment as soon as it is required. This is usually within a week and sometimes may be possible within 24/48 hours as I try to keep one or two sessions available for any urgent Appointments.
My initial Assessment appointment helps you to ascertain whether you feel I am the right counsellor for you, and able to meet your needs. I offer a short confidential chat prior to this where I invite you to ask any questions of me that you may have. For those who might not have previously worked with an experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist I recognise that you may feel initially apprehensive and therefor will help you to feel at ease.
My response to any message via phone, text or email is usually within the same day either to make an appointment, or if there is a question regarding therapy you might wish to ask me.
