About me
I am an HCPC-registered Dramatherapist, working psychodynamically and integrating all art forms—primarily drama. I have worked with children and adults across the NHS, social care, criminal justice, charities, and community based roles and currently practice as a specialist therapist in an eating disorders clinic. Dramatherapy offers a unique, non-verbal and symbolic way to explore trauma, neurodivergence, and emotional struggles. Whether through creativity or talking, we will work together to uncover patterns, process emotions, and foster change.
Dramatherapy is a form of art therapy that integrates creative modalities into clinical practice and involves intensive psychotherapy training. With a diverse clinical background, I support a wide range of needs. Arts therapies go beyond words if needed, offering a valuable space for children and adults.
I understand that starting therapy can be daunting, whether for you or your child. Dramatherapy offers a safe, creative space to explore emotions and challenges in a way that resonates. If you're looking for a way to better understand yourself or your child’s needs, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can explore how this approach can support you.
Training, qualifications & experience
Have completed a full time Master's course that prioritised clinical expertise in which I completed clinical placements in a psychiatric hospital unit, a children's hospice, an in-patient and out-patient eating disorders unit and in community based addiction services.
I received training in psychodynamic, DBT, Mantra, CBT and Trauma Informed approaches and attended workshops specialising in Mentalisation Based Treatment and EMDR therapy.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
