I offer a warm, calm and confidential space where we can work together to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a creative and non-judgemental way. This means that you can use the time and space to tune into and discuss what is going on with you as honestly as you can.
I offer open-ended therapy as well as short-term work, depending on what your needs are. We start with an initial consultation to help us determine whether we are able to work together and if we decide to go ahead we will see each other weekly for a 50 minute session at an agreed day and time.
Training, qualifications & experience
- PGDip in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy
- MA in Psychotherapy (completion in 2019)
I have experience of working with people from different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities. I have also lived in areas affected by conflict and experienced being an immigrant. This international perspective has fuelled my interest in how we deal with diversity, issues of race, identity, culture and belonging, and trauma.
I believe that psychotherapy can facilitate a shift in the way we perceive the experiences we have within our social and political structures, giving us a better understanding of who we are and with that comes the possibility of choice and agency, allowing for a bigger, more meaningful and fulfilling life.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
