About me
I am a Person Centred Counsellor offering a safe, open and non-judgemental space for personal reflection and contemplation around the trials and tribulations of life, past and present, no matter how big or small. I enjoy working with and supporting people from all walks of life to empower, enable and find a way through those difficult times that can often show themselves when we are least expecting it.
I have several years experience working with sexual abuse, trauma, loss and bereavement. I worked for a number of years with Mosaic II supporting adult survivors of sexual abuse and with Cruse Bereavement Care offering support to clients who have experienced traumatic loss.
I work in an open ended way allowing you the client to determine the pace and direction of travel. We will work together to explore and open your mind to allow you to gain a better understanding of yourself, help make sense of your past experience and explore what that may mean for the future and the choices you have going forwards.
I offer a 30 minute free phone consultation to establish the challenges you are experiencing, begin to understand what you would like from the counselling process and help to determine whether I am the right counsellor for you. Please email me or leave a message if I am unable to answer the phone and I will contact you as soon as possible.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
