I have a MA degree in Art psychotherapy from University of Roehampton, London - UK

Registered member of The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT)

With years of practice as a psychotherapist in Brazil, serving diverse client groups, my core specialisation centres on adult mental health, particularly focusing on women who experienced trauma, while also maintaining openness to working with a wide range of clients.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Further information

Art psychotherapy, to me, is a transformative medium that transcends traditional verbal therapy. Through the expressive use of art materials and dialogue, it unlocks profound insights and facilitates personal development on multiple levels. It's about tapping into the innate creativity within us to navigate through life's challenges.

In my practice, I create a non-judgmental, confidential space where everyone is welcome. No previous experience in art is necessary. I specialise in supporting individuals through life changes, providing emotional support during difficult times, and fostering personal growth.
