About me

I am an MBACP registered counselor with over ten years experience of working face to face with clients.

I started my career working in a treatment centre in central London and my specialist area is addiction. Working with addiction opened the door to working with many other issues. As well as one to one work I also have much experience of facilitating therapeutic groups.

My current job remains working with people and their families who have been affected by addiction specialising in alcohol abuse.

The main therapeutic approach I use is person centered which emphasizes the importance of the relationship between the counselor and client. I also believe that our formative years strongly influences our future in particular our relationships with our self and others. My approach is flexible  and not ‘one size fits all’. I understand how difficult it can be trying to choose the right counselor.

My sessions take place in a beautiful room in Preband Street Islington, just five minutes walk away for Angel Tube which also has great bus links.

If you are interested in working with me I encourage you to call under no obligation, it will help you to get a better sense of me and help to decide if you would like to meet for an initial assessment/session. During this session I can answer any questions such as how long you expect to be in therapy, and what would you like to change.
