About me

I am a fully qualified and professional Counsellor offering time limited and long term Counselling in a peaceful space conveniently located in East Dulwich, London (SE22). As a BACP registered counsellor, I abide by their Ethical Framework. This includes confidentiality for whatever you may bring to the counselling room, alongside a non-judgemental acceptance, no matter what you tell me.

What you can expect..
There are times when life can get on top of you and challenges seem over-whelming. Counselling is a process that gives you time and space in a professional and confidential relationship to consider your life from a new perspective. I will help you to make better sense of your experiences, thoughts and emotions in order to understand yourself better, discover meaning, recognise patterns and explore options available to you in the present moment.

How I work..
Everyone of us has his/her own way of expressing thoughts and feelings. I therefore have a flexible approach, tailoring our work to your needs: from a supportive, therapeutic dialogue providing time, safety and space just for you to creative techniques such as drawing. I work in collaboration with you, at your pace, following your interest.

How you can get started..
Maybe today is the day that you feel ready to tackle the problems, issues or conflicts which have been weighing you down. You can either call me or send me a message. I will try to offer you an appointment as soon as possible and at your best convenience. The objective of our first meeting is for me to get an understanding of what brings you to me and for you to find out how I work and if you feel comfortable with me. There is no commitment other than the fee for the initial assessment. Your intuition will let you know if you want us to continue working together. If you wish to proceed we would normally meet weekly for 50 minute sessions and I usually suggest starting with 5 sessions together with the possibility to extend our work together afterwards.

Whether you want to look at current issues with a brief, solution-focused therapy or you are seeking for longer-term therapy for more deeply-rooted problems, I offer a flexible approach tailored specifically to your needs and based on what we agree together will be most effective for you. We will regularly review our progress to ensure your needs are being met.

I am located in a convenient location in South East London, based in East Dulwich, easily accessible from Camberwell, Nunhead, Herne Hill, Brixton, Peckham, Forest Hill, Crystal Palace, Clapham, Stockwell and Kennington.
