About me

Everybody has got the power within to shine, sometimes this takes a journey of self-discovery, overcoming personal challenges, or dealing with difficult emotions to begin recognising it.  Other times it is about building or repairing relationships (including the relationship people have with themselves).

This is some of what I focus on in my therapy practice Resilience Counselling, as we work together through bereavement, depression, anxiety and building self-confidence.

Call or message me for more information, and to discuss how we can work together that is comfortable for you!

Training, qualifications & experience

Below are my qualifications, which is reassuring to know that I'm qualified and authorised to work safely with the general public! Most importantly, other than correct health and safety of everyone concerned, is that the support provided for anyone seeking therapy is going to be most beneficial and valuable, in order to get the job done.

I qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist in 2006, and counsellor in 2020, which put me in the perfect place to support many people through lockdown and beyond, to deal with some intense and challenging situations.

Currently, I have completed well over 500 hours of working with people of all ages, gender, situations, and contexts. Still going strong!

Further information

Counselling has been increasing in demand over the recent years due to the increase in pressures put upon people in every area of our lives.

Whether you are male or female, young or old, there is always help available, if you find yourself going through difficulty. A lot of people are starting to recognise that mental and emotional health is equally as important to take care of as physical health and exercise.

The first step is to reach out to someone, and start to find out more information and knowledge about what you may be going through, and it's impacts on your daily life experiences. Counselling can be a great place to start this process of rebalancing and healing
