About me

Hello, my name is Marc and I have been practising as a psychotherapist and a counsellor for the last three years, following four year training in integrative therapy. Prior to my counselling diploma, I gained a bachelor degree of science in psychology, and I am a member of the British Psychological Society. From my degree I learned a broad range of schools of thoughts that I integrate in my therapeutic work according to the needs of my clients. I also work as a Loss Counsellor for Carers Support Merton in Mitcham, where I see referred Clients Carers who are going through a loss or who are grieving.

I was born in France, therefore I am able to see clients and work in English or in French. I have worked in health care for more than eight years, as a cognitive rehab practitioner for brain injury and neurological conditions. I work also as a Wellbeing Coordinator for the Wimbledon Guild.

I offer a holistic approach looking at your difficulties or painful life experiences as well as the underlying causes which have caused you to experience life through your unique perspective.
Being able to talk privately and confidentially with an empathic non-judgemental listener can bring about a significant resolution of your worries and fears and provide you with the tools to face similar situation in the future.

I have particular experience working with clients in life changing situations, or going through emotional distress due to long term illness. I also have training on working with end of life, grief and loss.

Have a look on my website to find more information and regular updates.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
