Hi, thanks for taking the time to have a look at our profile and counselling centre. At Maple Leaf we have fully qualified counsellors, supervisors and trainers working with both adults and children in a friendly warm atmosphere.
Choosing a counsellor can be quite daunting so please feel free to give us a call with no obligation and we can discuss in confidence your reasons for wanting to see a counsellor and if you would like to make an appointment. All our counsellors are members of ethical bodies such as BACP or BABCP, orNCS and our centre is registered to teach CPCAB counselling and supervision training courses.
We offer personal one to one counselling using a wide range of therapies including; Cognative Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transaction Analysis, Person Centred, Relationship, Rewind Therapy and Bereavement and loss. These different therapies can help with a wide range of problems and concerns.
At Maple Leaf Counselling and Training Centre we provide a caring professional Counselling, Supervision and teaching service.
How counselling can help?
Our counsellors have a wide range of experience helping people with their problems such as; anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, unemployment, OCD, work related issues, self esteem, bullying, body image, self confidence, mental ill health and anger issues. Counselling can help you to explore what is happening in your life, how you feel and what you would like to be different.
What to expect in your first session.
Whatever your problem, you will not be judged in any way. In the initial session we can explore what has brought you to counselling and look at what you would like to achieve.

Member organisations *
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
