About me
If you’re reading this, you’re most likely in a space of confusion, anxiety, anger, loneliness, resentment, sadness or grief. You might be feeling one, some or all of these; and more.
I know this first step is hard, whether you’ve had therapy before or not. It means you’ll be starting a journey towards the unknown, and when you’re already going through so much, it can feel like doing nothing is easier.
I’m here to meet you where you are and sit with you in that space or walk with you to face parts of yourself that you're reluctant to go to on your own. I’m here to create a different space with you so you can explore whatever you need or want to.
Hi, I’m Manisha and I’m a person-centred counsellor. My promise to you is that our relationship will be at the core of our time together, to get to where you want to be. I will hear, see and understand you from your perspective so we can make sense of it together.
I specialise in perinatal, baby loss & parenting counselling; as well as exploring identity from neurodiversity and/or cultural perspectives. I also have experience working with those in various stages of their life, such as relationships, faith, loss, identity, childhood trauma, domestic abuse, chronic illnesses and career.
If this resonates with you and you’d like to work towards feeling calm, finding clarity and making steps that are right for you, please get in touch!
Training, qualifications & experience
I have been working with families through their perinatal journey, including birth trauma, baby loss, pregnancy after loss and advocacy for several years. I have also completed the CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am an accredited member of the NCPS (National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society).
Additionally, I have completed various other trainings in baby loss, perinatal mental health, managing anxiety, domestic abuse and working with trauma.
I also co-founded a not-for-profit, Support Me CIC, where I develop, deliver and facilitate training on Culturally Aligned Practice.
