About me
Hello and welcome to my page. My journey towards becoming a counsellor began during a time when I was searching for a career that I felt did more than just pay the bills. As much as being counsellor has allowed me to be there for my clients, I believe my life has also been enriched as a result. I have the privilege of working with a variety of clients from the private sector and also those that are referred in via the National Health Service (NHS).
The type of therapy I practice with is known as Person Centred Therapy with Integrative Hypnotherapy. I work in accordance to the Ethical Framework for Counselling Professions set by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). In line with the requirements of these ethical standards, I am fully insured, attend regular clinical supervision and training sessions to keep my therapeutic skills up to date and relevant.
Despite all that I can put down in words, a therapeutic alliance between you and I would depend on your comfort level with me and if my skill set suit your therapeutic needs. As such, I offer a FREE 15 to 30 minutes telephone session where we can discuss if I can be of assistance and answer any questions that you may have. To learn more about the services on offer, please visit my website, email info@orientwellbeing.com or you can send a text message to 07845 50 37 36.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
