About me

With over 20 years experience I am a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society and a Registered Accredited Member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society and a Registered Accredited Member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I gained a wealth of experience over 14 years working in Adult Psychological Therapies for NHS Ayrshire and Arran (Scotland). I worked as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist within GP surgeries taking referrals from them directly as well as the wider Psychology team.

I also have specialist training to work with survivors of abuse and ran a project known as 'Moving On' for a Voluntary Organisation.

In addition, I have training and experience working with couples who are suffering relationship difficulties and mediating with couples who are going through the procedure of divorce.

My training and experience also includes working with young people, I devoted six years of my career working exclusively in schools.
