Mandy Bowler B.Ed (Hons) Dip.Couns. MBACP DipHyp (Dist).MHS
There is NO CHARGE for our first meeting because it's so important that we both feel comfortable to proceed. This is especially important if this is your first experience of therapy, or you're just looking to explore whether therapy is right for you now. This is how I work, always careful, gentle and placing your needs at the very centre of our work together.
I offer warmth, compassion and a safe, confidential space. We'll work with the whole of your experience which involves a regular time for you to express whatever is troubling you, perhaps sadness, fears, anger or even joy (yes, sometimes we may even laugh!) but always going at your pace. You set the 'agenda' for every session.
As a qualified psychotherapeutic Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Performance Coach you have access to all three approaches if you choose, or just one. Either way, l offer help for people whatever their circumstances, experiences or needs, and using a variety of therapeutic styles and techniques. We can explore precisely how you would like to be helped in our first consultation and thereafter the choice is always yours.
Counselling, hypnotherapy and coaching are ‘enabling’ – helping people make changes in their lives.
My approach is about being with you, and not doing for you, respecting that you are expert in yourself, and are ultimately capable of finding your own way through your issues or achieving your goals. From time to time, people need help in doing this, that deciding to act and seek help is the first step on a journey they would rather not begin on their own.
Like you, I experience feelings of fear, joy, sadness, and anger and recognise them as natural emotions within us all. My motivation is to help people recognise these feelings, explore them safely, and even perhaps see them as helpful – a natural part of being a human.
So my invitation is for us to be one human sitting with another exploring what connects us all on our journey through the twists and turns of life.
