About me
I am an integrative counsellor providing a safe, empathetic and judgement free space for you to explore, and process your emotions and experiences.
I am experienced in working with anxiety, grief, fear of dying and loss of identity.
Being an Integrative counsellor means I see each person as an individual, tailoring my approach to create the right support for each client. Through my training I learnt about a variety of theories, and use elements of each of these through my work. I have created my own toolbox which I pick from based on my client’s needs.
My main approach is underpinned by a humanistic method, this means I hold the belief that humans are fundamentally good, each driven to meet our full potential.
In therapy we will uncover things together in our lives known as blocks, which may be keeping you from reaching your potential.
How I can help
Counselling is more than talking, it is a relationship, research has proved that the therapeutic relationship is the most important element of counselling.
Forming a relationship with your counsellor is the foundation to being able to open up and build trust to get the most out of working together.
Together we will look at what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from this experience. I will be led by you, following you where you want to go in our sessions, whether that be the present, the past or the future
When I work
I offer both short and long term counselling, with young people and adults online and over the telephone. For those based in Brighton, there is a possibility to move to in person sessions. These sessions can take place either weekly or fortnightly. I offer sessions outside of usual working hours.
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, a space for us both to ask each other questions and get to know each other.
It takes vulnerability to ask for support, this could be the beginning of your counselling journey.
The best way to contact me is via my email address, I endeavour to get back in touch within 24 hours

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
