About me

Hi, I'm Mali,

Thank you for clicking on my profile,

Taking the first step to reach out and ask for help can be challenging, I offer a safe space for you to be able to talk through aspects of your life without judgment.

Working within the mental field in the NHS I can see for myself the need for more accessible support.

I see each person as an individual, tailoring my approach to create the right support for each client. I have created my own toolbox which I pick from based on my client’s needs.

How I can help

Together we will look at what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from this experience. I will be led by you, following you where you want to go in our sessions, whether that be the present, the past or the future

I can support you with issues you may be facing in your life.

When I work

I offer both short and long term counselling, with young people and adults online, over the telephone, video call or face to face at locations across Brighton. These sessions can take place either weekly or fortnightly. I offer sessions outside of usual working hours.

Drop me an email to discuss availability.

I can empathise with how nerve wracking it can be to choose a counsellor, I offer a free 15 minute call for us to have a chance to get to know each other to see if we would be a good fit.

It takes courage to ask for support, this could be the beginning of your counselling journey.

The best way to contact me is via my email address, I endeavour to get back in touch within 24 hours

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
