About me

I am a Couple and Individual Counsellor and Psychotherapist trained at Tavistock Relationships where I work as a visiting clinician and assessor.

Privately I see clients online or at The City Psychotherapy Service, 64 Great Eastern Street, EC2A 3QR

I specialise in working with couples and individuals experiencing relationship issues.

Other areas of expertise include:

- IAPT Couple Therapy for Depression - trainer and supervisor

- Separation and Divorce Consultations - short term counselling to support individuals and couples

- Mentalization Based Couple Therapy - for couples experiencing high level of conflicts

- Partaking in an advanced specialized Psychosexual study at Tavistock Relationships (General member of COSRT, Professional body for Psychosexual Therapists)

Studies on the effectiveness of couple therapy have demonstrated the positive effect it has on relationships, anxiety, depression and mental health.

I offer a professional and confidential setting and work with people of all sexual orientations and cultural backgrounds.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

To start with, we will meet for an initial consultation of 75 minutes in order to discuss your situation and your expectations of therapy. Regular therapy is based on 50-minute, weekly sessions, conducted on an open-ended basis.
