About me
I am a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist who has been working with clients with a range of presenting difficulties for over 15 years.
I specialise in working with women at all stages of the motherhood journey from pre-conception to empty nest. I also work with women navigating perimenopause and the challenges this can evoke.
I work closely with clients to understand the story that has brought them to therapy. This helps us formulate individualised treatment plans grounded in the evidence base.
Therapy should be a collaborative process and as a Clinical Psychologist, it is my job to work with my clients to identify what will work best for them. I am trained in a range of theoretical models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic/Family Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Behavioural Therapy and Compassion focused therapy (CFT). This broad training enables me to be a truly integrative therapist and tailor my interventions appropriately for each client I meet.
In the first instance, I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation to explore how I may be able to help.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
