Together we can untangle the past or inspire new ways of thinking, creating a happier future.
I am an Integrative counsellor , meaning I am trained in a variety of modalities, and adapt to your needs.
The most important thing is the relationship. If you feel safe to talk and are heard, then you can be Your true self, accepted warts and all and this often begins a process of change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in higher education ( counselling)
Before I became a counsellor , I was a supervisor for a care company ( NVQlevel3) A teacher, and entrepreneur . I ran my own business, training and educating and empowering underprivileged people in Africa, for 20 years.I hold a full British passport and immigrated due to the violence in South Africa.
I was part of a team of people who started a private school in South Africa , called Ridgeway Independant school. I taught there for many years part time and also at Soutanesburg Primary school where I was the Life orientation teacher.
My speciality is to empower people to be who they were born to be, using their talents to create a happy fulfilled life .
There is no magic wand, however given the right conditions, talking and discussing things with a therapy , who is not a friend or family member, can be like a seed planted in good soil, where growth comes.
