Lynne Bennett. MBPsS, Accred BABCP, Reg MBACP.
I am an accredited and experienced cognitive behaviour psychotherapist and registered counsellor. I treat a wide range of problems and offer a professional, safe and supportive space for change. I have over ten years experience providing psychological services to adults and young people within NHS, local authority and educational settings. I offer an environment where you will feel safe, valued and supported in making changes to improve your life.
I have post graduate qualifications in a variety of therapeutic approaches and follow NHS (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) recommended guidelines for treating a range of difficulties.
I believe each person is an individual and that what may suit one person may not necessarily work for another; I therefore adopt a flexible approach and listen to feedback from my clients.
Benefits of therapy may include a more positive outlook, greater self insight, improved self esteem/confidence, positive behaviour changes and better relationships. Such changes can in turn translate into an enhanced sense of physical vitality and well-being.
