About me

Welcome to my practice.

You can be assured that I will offer a warm, safe and confidential space for you to be listened to. Together we can explore what you would like to achieve from Counselling, whether it is an unexpected life change, a problem that's causing you distress or perhaps that you are seeking self-improvement. I can offer short and long term therapy, and am experienced in single session therapy which I can offer according to your needs.

I have over 17 years experience of working in Health and Wellbeing.

I work with adults and young people. I am also trained and experienced in Bereavement and Loss and can offer creative therapy in my sessions.

I have worked in a variety of Health settings including the NHS, Sexual Health as well as working within Schools, Colleges and Universities.

Everyone of us is unique and we all experience things differently. Sometimes unexpected life events can affect our health and wellbeing which can present challenges that are overwhelming. Together we will explore what would be beneficial to you, in order to progress and change the things you want to.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
