About me
My name is Lynn i run All Things Counselling. This is a private service which has provided support to over 200 children and young people , couples , adults in the past year .

Therapy allows you to process and understand difficult past circumstances which potentially are effecting what is happening to you in the present. We will help you navigate these life difficulties .
Training, qualifications & experience
All Things Counselling (ATC)exists to make counselling accessible . ATC provides counselling to children and young people, couples , adults.
We are now able to provide counselling support for maternal mental health- from miscarriage/loss through to post natal depression/anxiety, birth trauma. An additional aspect of our work is dealing with childhood related trauma, so working with women who have maybe experienced multiple adverse childhood experiences.
If you have been effected by trauma we offer EMDR which is an effective treatment for difficulties that may have arisen from having a job that requires you to deal with traumatic events. Or you may have been a victim of assault, sexual/physical: emotional abuse , child neglect or complicated grief. If you think this treatment would help you please contact us .
The best thing we can offer any client is life experience and through difficult experiences we have all found a way to live a happy and fulfilled lives.
Alongside that between we have a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Dip in Integrative Counselling, MBACP(Reg).BSc(Hons) Social Work, Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy ,CertIficate in couples work, Certificate in Therapeutic Play, Social Work (MADIPSW). Accreditation in Infant loss, Post-graduate Dip Trauma Studies and EMDR.
We all work collaboratively which is designed to help you take control of your life in order to achieve positive change and increased enjoyment of life .
Continuous Professional Development
All Things Counselling is committed to providing a high standard of counselling. To help us achieve this we all are continually working on our professional development and in particular training around trauma in adults and working with children who have been effected by trauma. .
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
