About me
We are all unique as individuals with our own unique way of being. Life can present us with many challenges, which we will all deal with in our own unique way. However, there may be times in our lives when the way we once dealt with things or behaved become less successful or productive. There may be many reasons for this, some of which may not always be clear to us at the time.
I believe we all have the capacity to change our lives and ourselves for the better, but sometimes that involves a helping hand. Therapy can offer that helping hand. It can provide a safe, containing space for you to look at these issues in life, be it loss, trauma, transition, relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, gender identity, work related issues and many more. Therapy is about a collaborative approach, where I as the therapist work with you to help you explore your own issues and we work together to develop an understanding of what is going on for you and effect change and emotional growth.
As a BACP and EMDR Europe accredited therapist, I offer both Psychodynamic therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing).
Psychodynamic therapy involves exploration of thoughts, feelings and past experiences to gain insight into current behaviours and relationships. I provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for exploring past experiences, understanding present challenges, and effecting positive changes in your life.
EMDR is a more structured therapy aimed at addressing and resolving emotional distress stemming from past experiences, allowing for healing within a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
Whether you are seeking long-term insight or a more focused resolution, I provide a safe, non-judgemental environment where you can explore your challenges and start your journey of healing and growth. Together we can navigate through life's challenges and help you find a path to a brighter future.
Deciding to ask for help is a courageous move that can be rewarded with huge personal benefits and be transformative in so many ways.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
