I am a Relationship Counsellor with many years experience working with individuals, couples or families who are dealing with relationship issues, perhaps related to difficult communication, stress and anxiety, or to the impact of change, loss or trauma. As a specialized sub-set of this work, I am also qualified to work as a Sex Therapist, with individuals or couples of any sexual orientation who are dealing with a sexual difficulty.
I am qualified to work within a number of therapeutic approaches, and adapt these integratively according to the needs of the client.
If you are experiencing the impact of trauma on your life relationships, I work holistically with contemporary trauma approaches to help you understand and manage the distress, and explore ways of widening your window of tolerance of life stresses.
If you find you are having difficulty in managing conflict in your relationships, or need support in the face of loss or breakdown of a relationship, I work integratively in helping you understand and resolve these issues.
If you are experiencing sexual difficulties or discomfort, or needing to build your sexual confidence, or wanting more information on how to manage your sexual relationships, my approach is to help you to find ways to communicate and understand these difficulties, and to explore ways of changing these. This includes individuals who are struggling with illness or sexual trauma.
