Luisa Savidge, Lark Rise Counselling And Psychotherapy
Are you suffering from feelings of anxiety? You might be a father, a husband, a brother or a son, who doesn't know where to turn to talk about your feelings?
Perhaps you are an expectant Mum and daunted by the changes you are facing? Have you been through a traumatic childbirth experience and need to talk it through?
Welcome to Lark Rise Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I know it can be daunting thinking about seeking help. It can be hard knowing where to start. Working with me, you would not only be supported by a professional in understanding your feelings, but also benefit from my ability to empower you to move forward with a fresh perspective. Counselling doesn't have to mean long-term dependency on professional help. It can mean learning how to develop your own self-help toolkit to face life's challenges.
I welcome clients with any issue that they may wish to bring, but I have a special interest in men's mental health as I feel it is an area often overlooked. I also have experience of working with expectant mothers who may be suffering anxiety, postnatal depression and those who have endured traumatic childbirth experiences.
I am also very happy to work with student counsellors, who may require person-centred counselling as part of their course.
I work from offices at the Wellbeing Clinic, Vernon Gate in Derby.
You can contact me in the first instance, either by email at email@example.com or by telephoning 07704 399773. During this initial contact, we will discuss your needs and your hopes around how therapy might be able to help you. I will also take down contact details and other information that is helpful to me in ensuring a safe working relationship. I will also be able to get a feel for whether I am able to help. We will then arrange an an initial appointment, during which a more in depth exploration of your needs will take place and we can decide together if we feel that we can work together.
There is no obligation to continue with the counselling beyond this point. Going forward, we will book further sessions on a mutually agreed basis.
