About me

My clients consider me a kind, straight-forward and active therapist, and this is what you can expect in our sessions. As a result, most of my referrals come from past and existing clients hence I have a successful and reputable private practice.

I have worked with a wide variety of people and issues and have a track record of successfully helping people to understand themselves,  their relationships and lives more fully.

Why not get started today? Please give me a ring for a consultation on 07982 905 786

I offer daytime and evening appointments. I offer individual and couples therapy.

I currently practice from Out of the Blue Counselling & Psychotherapy Space, Otley Pool in Wharfedale.  There is ample parking and the location is private and secure.

Review kindly left on Redditt

"Well, Lucy Pritchard is excellent at listening to a 1000 word description of largely tangential stuff then saying something that seems obvious yet sheds light on things. I find her a very accepting but low-bullshit counsellor, and recommend her based on that. (YMMV, and I'm sure it depends on what work you feel you need to do, but drop her an email!)"

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
