About me

I offer  50 minute online or Phone sessions:

Therapy is not easy, however, it does give you a great feeling of taking back control, owning your own thoughts and feelings as well as exploring any maladaptive negative behaviours. You can discuss any experience in a safe non-judgmental environment, and work towards solutions that suit your needs and want.

Therapy has taught me that most of the burdens that we carry are not ours but belong to others.  If you feel that you would like a chat to explore therapy please send me an email.

Training, qualifications & experience

Trained at Morley college and hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.  I achieved this qualification through strict training to adhere to the BACP ethical framework.

I trained at the Awareness Centre in Clapham, which allowed me to explore and work with a wide range of clients allowing me to gain my training hours.

I also have diplomas in Shadow Work  (Jung),  Recovery from Narcissistic Abuse and colour Therapy, and a diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Currently Studying Therapeutic Psychology at Roehampton University.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

I can empathise with how uncomfortable it can be to start therapy. Even just looking for a therapist can be hard work. Working with the right therapist is very much essential to the process of change

Person-Centred therapy allows the client to problem-solve, which means that  I am there to help facilitate growth through listening and being supportive in a non-judgemental space. The client is always the expert of their own experiences, and I am not there to tell anyone how they should be feeling.

please email me to arrange a quick chat about your needs and wants from therapy and we can take it from there.
