About me
🦋 You feel things deeply and you care about others and the world around you. Your mind is always busy and you’re constantly juggling responsibilities and expectations. You often feel anxious, overwhelmed and not good enough. Deep down you know there's a gap between the life you’re living and the more meaningful and connected life you long for. You’ve had enough of the struggle and want it to be different. When you’re out in nature, you do feel different - freer, less overwrought and pre-occupied. You’re more present, more yourself. Now imagine you could take that sense of ease and deep content with who you are into your daily life…
How I Work
🐿️ In my nature-based therapy sessions, we slow down. We pay attention to the world around you and the world within. Using gentle, body-awareness practices and your active imagination, we explore your experiences in a way that brings emotional balance, a deeper connection with who you are and what you really want, and the capacity to stay true to yourself.
Next Steps
🌳 If this way of working sounds appealing, I warmly invite you to get in touch. I'm here to listen to your story, to understand what matters most to you and to support you in connecting with and honouring your true self in all areas of your life. Together we'll work to put a stop to the anxiety and overwhelm. You're welcome to reach out with any questions—or to book a free introductory call.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified from the University of Surrey, Roehampton as a Dramatherapist in 2005 and am currently working towards a Certificate in Embodied Psychotherapy (due to finish in July 2025) which beautifully complements my dramatherapy training and my holistic approach to wellbeing and healing.
Over nearly 20 years, I have worked with adults, children and families in a range of charities, local authorities, residential children's homes, schools and in private practice. As well as running an outdoor therapy practice, I work part time as an Associate at Beacon House Trauma Services based in Cuckfield. Since completing a Clinical Supervision training in 2021, I also offer outdoor supervision for therapists/counsellors and others in the caring professions, both individuals and groups.
My areas of special interest and experience include issues relating to adoption, child-parent relationships, developmental trauma and attachment.
I regularly attend CPD and training courses and recent topics have included: shame, gaming disorder, neurodiversity and trauma, sensorimotor practices, ecotherapy, racialised trauma and group work.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
