Lucas Voclere - Counselling - Psychotherapy (MBACP)
Are you struggling with your life, your self-esteem or your relationships? Struggling to understand who you are, what you need, how to cope and what changes you could make to improve your life? Haunted by your past? Terrified of your future? Then the humanistic and integrative talking therapy I offer could help you.
My name is Lucas Voclere, I am a qualified Psychosynthesis Counsellor (Humanistic Integrative Method) providing Counselling & Psychotherapy face to face in Bristol and online from anywhere.
Sessions available in English & French.
WHAT I OFFER
I offer a holding safe space where there are no judgments but the acceptance of everything you are and everything you want to present, honouring your life experience and difficulties as much as your life and therapeutic goals.
I provide a tailored therapy focused on healing, growth & empowerment through awareness & will.
Integrating approaches & tools from methods such as Person Centred, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic, I will assist you with developing healthy relationships with yourself and others.
Our collaboration will provide you a better understanding of yourself, your experiences and aspirations, so that you can be in the best possible position to make new life choices and allow the changes you need and the person you can become to emerge.
I'm also dedicated to help you go throughout unresolved issues, unfinished businesses or difficult times, and move forward with your life.
I have experience supporting a very diverse range of individuals (age, nationality, culture, gender & sexual identity, career etc) with a very diverse range of challenges and issues, notably:
Depression & Anxiety
Family conflicts and/or Difficult Upbringing
(Abuse, Neglect, Bullying etc. & resulting Traumas and/or Dysfunctional Beliefs or Behaviours)
(Including Low Self-Esteem, Body Image issues, Expat Life, Work Stress & Career Path, Existential Crisis etc.)
( Including Gender & Sexual Identity, Cultural Identity & Neurodiversity)
Relationships & Sexuality
(Including Loneliness, Intimacy and/or Belonging Issues, Monogamy & Polyamory)
BACKGROUND & SPECIFIC INTERESTS
I have a background in Arts, essentially in Cinema & Theatre. I am passionate about arts, imagery, curiosity, imagination, creativity & playfulness.
I also worked over 15 years in Customer & Corporate Services in various industries, notably training new recruits. This has provided me with a great understanding of the stressful environment, imperatives & targets of the corporate world, and how it can impact on mental, emotional & physical health.
I have a non-exclusive interest in working with LGBTQI+ and straight individuals about gender identity, sexual identity, sexuality & relationships.
I also have an interest and some experience working with neurodiversity, especially Asperger & High Potential individuals (otherwise known as Gifted or Highly Sensitive Persons).
You can contact me via email, phone or by filling the contact form:
We will have a short conversation over the phone to discuss briefly your situation & expectations, and address any question you might have.
If we come to an agreement, we will book our first session together, - so called Initial Assessment or Initial Interview. I will send you my Counselling & Data Protection agreement prior to the appointment to explain you my framework.
If you decide to engage in the therapeutic work together, we will have a review on the sixth session of your experience. Other reviews can occur over time. Those reviews are meant to re-assess the process to better tailor the therapy that you need, and to make sure you get the most benefits out of it.
