Louise Williams - Dip. Hyp, Dip, CP,Adv.Dip.CP
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, my core training is person centred and psychodynamic which means I believe many of our issues stem from childhood or previous experiences of which many of those influence our thoughts, feelings and subsequent behaviours.
I am aware however that every individual is unique and so the same approach is not suitable for all, so with my extensive knowledge of other approaches I work in an integrative way. I believe that there are core skills to build the therapeutic relationship between my client and myself and to allow this to happen my priority is to build trust and respect whilst showing empathy and unconditional positive regard.
By working together I will support you every step of the way to help you get back to being the person you would like to be.
Many of my clients have commented to me that I have quickly been able to reduce their fears and pre conceptions of counselling and a lot of my work is as a direct result of recommendation from people I have supported in the past
I currently work closely with a team of safeguarding professionals.
The majority of my clients are as result of recommendation.
