About me

Hello, I am Louise and a warm welcome to my profile

The way that I work has evolved over many years and incorporates methods not only from years of research and study but also from my own very personal healing journey which has given me a deeper understanding of how it can feel to be in emotional pain, isolated, anxious, misunderstood and ultimately not feel good enough.

I take a holistic approach to therapy, recognising that emotional struggles are not just psychological but deeply interconnected with our physical, relational, and even spiritual well-being.

True healing involves addressing the whole person, understanding the nature of the mind, the sometimes subtle and noisy language of the body and understanding our complex emotional reactions—rather than just treating symptoms.

Whether you’re experiencing  anxiety, trauma, addiction, or a sense of disconnection, my focus is on helping you reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way and naturally as we reconnect with our selves we can begin to re connect with our lives and others in a more authentic way.

I am a passionate advocate for any healing journey and it does take courage, but it can be a beautiful messy and enlightening process full of highs, lows and laughter as we begin to finally understand ourselves more fully.

I understand that reaching out for support—especially when struggling with addiction or difficult emotions—can feel daunting. But please don’t worry. We can have an informal chat about what’s troubling you, and I can assure you that it won’t be as uncomfortable as you may think. Taking that first step is often the hardest part.

The way I work is flexible. I work online, over the telephone as well as face to face. Offering flexibility enables you to engage from anywhere in the country, reducing barriers like travel or anxiety about face-to-face meetings. This also helps keep costs down. Having said that, I'm always happy to discuss what method feels best for you and we can always adapt in order to meet your needs.

Many thank's for reading to the end, wishing you kindness and patience on your journey.

wishing you well.  Louise

Further information

Therapy is for everyone. I believe that no issue is too big. I work with individuals from all backgrounds, and no experience is too overwhelming or shameful to bring into therapy. Lets face it,  life’s challenges can profoundly affect our emotional well-being, leaving us feeling lost, anxious, or in despair. Therapy offers a safe space— for exploring difficult emotions—but also for moments of shared connection.

I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, each of which I’ve seen create real transformation in my own life and in the lives of my clients. My personal healing journey has spanned over 30 years, and it continues to shape my practice with authenticity and compassion.

If you’d like to chat informally about the methods I use or explore books and resources that have been meaningful to me, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
