INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES AND TEENAGERS ON LINE
I am a fully qualified NHS trained (BACP) registered Integratve counsellor. This means I am trained in different approaches which gives me more flexibility in choosing the best approach for you.
Life can be challenging at times. You may be suffering with stress or your anxiety maybe stopping you from doing the things you enjoy. Maybe you just feel like your not getting what you want out of life. You may want to change things in your life but just don't know where to begin.
Do you have a son or daughter who is struggling with the pressure of exams or friendship problems or any of the many challenges that face young people today? You could be have relationship problems of you own where you are experiencing difficulty in your family or romantic relationships.
If you are experiencing any of the above. I specialise in anxiety and relationship issues and would like to support you with the changes you may want to make in your life.
I will provide you with confidential and genuine therapy to help you by:-
- Exploring patterns of behaviour and communication difficulties in order to help you develop healthier relationships.
- Improving self esteem and self care. Help you to set boundaries for yourself and recognise any sabotaging behaviours.
- Get to the root cause of your anxiety as well as providing you with the tools to treat symptoms or stress and anxiety.
I offer a free initial phone consultation so we can get to know each other and you can decide whether you feel comfortable talking to me. Relationship is key to the counselling process so this is an important step and if you decide to go ahead from here we will decide on a suitable time and location for you.
I have extensive counselling experience gained in a number of settings. As well as my private practice I have worked in doctors surgeries, primary and secondary schools and have worked with Employee Assistance Programmes providing emotional support and counselling for employees in the work place.
Through these roles I have gained experience in working with issues such as anxiety, work related and exam stress, depression, bereavement, self harm, addiction, abuse and relationship problems amongst others.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
