About me
I’m a qualified person-centred therapist based in the centre of Wilmslow, offering a safe space for you to talk about what’s going on in your life, and helping you to make sense of it.
You may be feeling overwhelmed or confused about an area of your life, and feel the need to get to the bottom of why you’re feeling this way. By allowing you the space to talk and using counselling techniques, I aim to help you alleviate stress, confusion, anxiety, or feelings of isolation and loneliness.
I can help you by giving you a safe, non-judgemental space to talk about what's happening for you just now.
As a person-centred counsellor, I will listen to you carefully as you explore your feelings, beliefs, and behaviour, and offer insight, so that, together, we alleviate any confusion, stress, anxiety or depression that you may be dealing with. The belief is that you are the expert on yourself, and I will facilitate you in finding your own answers.
I work from a private room in the centre of Wilmslow, for face to face therapy sessions. The room is easy to get to from Wilmslow train station (5 minutes walk), and there is free street parking nearby on roads in Wilmslow town centre.
After your enquiry, I will contact you via email or text and we will arrange a suitable session time for you.
Sessions are £50. You can decide how long you wish to continue sessions for, and most clients have them on a weekly, or fortnightly basis.
If this sounds like it may be helpful, please get in touch. I look forward to welcoming and working with you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified from the Manchester College with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. Since then, I have worked with dozens of clients and done more than 500 hours of therapy sessions working with a range of issues including relationship problems, family issues, and feelings of being stuck, or lost.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
