Bapt Registered Play Therapist (PGDip Play Therapy)

About me

I am a qualified play therapist registered with the British Association of Play Therapists. I provide therapy to children and their families in the East Yorkshire region.  I see children in school settings or I have a therapy space in Beverley or Pocklington.

I have experience in working with children who have experienced trauma or distressing experiences such as separation, loss or bereavement or who are just having a hard time with their emotions. I work closely with carers and parents and have additional training in parent /child therapies where I work with the child and carer together.

Play therapy is a creative therapy allowing children to express themselves through the medium of play and creative activities rather than having to talk about things although talking is allowed too!
