About me

Hi my name is Louise.  I see couples and individuals and offer face to face or online sessions. I am Sussex based and see clients in Hove, Lewes and Haywards Heath.  At each location there is parking close by and they are also all within walking distance of the main train stations.

What do I offer?

I draw on various complimentary methods of counselling and psychotherapy that can be tailored to your individual needs to explore the issues you feel are impacting on the way you want to live your life.

What to expect

I will work collaboratively with you to explore your difficulties, how you feel they may have developed or have continued and what you would like to get out of our sessions together.

We can also discuss whether we feel you would benefit from short term, more solution focused work (normally around 8 to 20 sessions) or from longer term open ended therapy.

It can be helpful to have check-ins with how you are finding our sessions and to review your goals and aims regularly.

Individual Sessions:

I offer an initial 50 minute assessment and 'taster' session (£50) where we can discuss the issue(s) that are causing you difficulty, what you are looking for from counselling and I can answer any queries you may have.  Ongoing sessions are £50 per session.  I offer either face to face or online sessions.

Couple Sessions:

I offer an initial 75 minute assessment and 'taster' session (£65) where we can discuss together your reasons for seeking counselling and explore what the three of us can look to achieve from our sessions together. Ongoing sessions are £65 (75 mins).  Please note, I only offer face to face sessions for couples counselling.

What is my experience?

I work in both private practice and also for the NHS.

I have experience working with a wide variety of emotional difficulties, including bereavement, depression, relationship difficulties and other life altering changes in circumstances. In addition I am an Anxiety UK approved therapist and therefore have experience with different types of anxiety including generalised anxiety disorder, health anxiety and social anxiety.

Counselling can also be helpful for those times when you are feeling stressed, perhaps not sleeping well or maybe you are finding that your normal ways of coping are no longer helping.

How to contact me

You can contact me via phone or email to discuss booking an assessment and what you are looking for from counselling and from your counsellor.  We can have a chat to see if you feel I may meet your needs.  Any contact you make with me is confidential.
