Louise Herbert (Dip. Couns) Healix Counselling
About me
Who Am I?
Hello, my name is Louise and I am a professionally qualified and accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor, experienced with working with adults, both in private practice and also in the NHS.
What do I offer?
I draw on various complimentary methods of counselling and psychotherapy that can be tailored to your individual needs, whether you are seeking shorter term solution focused therapy or longer term in-depth therapy, to explore thoughts, feelings or behaviors that you feel are impacting on the way you want to live your life in an empathetic, confidential and non-judgemental space.
You may be feeling that you are not sleeping well or your usual coping mechanisms are not working so well for you anymore.
Maybe you are finding you are becoming more anxious in social situations or perhaps are finding it harder to say no to unwanted requests and are feeling overwhelmed.
You might be realising that you have a pattern of self-sabotaging behaviours.
Perhaps you feel that the way you relate and communicate with yourself and others is causing you difficulty or distress.
I offer either face to face sessions or online sessions.
Please visit my website for further details.
What is my experience?
I have experience working with a wide variety of emotional difficulties, including bereavement, depression, relationship difficulties and other life altering changes in circumstances. In addition I am an Anxiety UK approved therapist and therefore have experience with different types of anxiety including health anxiety and social anxiety.

You can message me or contact me via text or email.
I understand you want to make sure you choose the right therapist for you and offer a confidential no obligation, free assessment (20 mins) where we can discuss what you are looking for from therapy, what your expectations are and answer any queries you may have.
