Louise Buckley Dip.Couns MBACP
Sometimes life can seem too much, and our problems may seem insurmountable. This is where I am here to offer a safe, warm environment, where you can talk about anything that is concerning you. I will treat you with the utmost respect, whilst you process your thoughts, feelings and emotions. I am deeply empathic, warm and non-judgemental, and have a good understanding of what it feels like to be anxious and ‘emotionally adrift’.
I am based at Advance Brighter Futures, 3 Belmont Road in Wrexham, and their rooms are comfortable, warm and welcoming.
I offer a one to one counselling service and my sessions are unlimited.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
I have a particular interest in counselling those who are experiencing anxiety and depression, and have worked extensively with post-natal depression and anxiety.
My fees are £38 per 50 minute session & I offer concessions of £30, to those on lower incomes and students.
I offer a free phone consultation to make sure I am able to accommodate your particular needs.
I'm a fully qualified counsellor and life coach and I'm also a member of the BACP professional body, and I adhere to their professional framework to ensure safe, ethical practice. I have an extensive background in nursing, where I was often there to listen to those in need of support and a trustworthy ear.
