About me
My aim is to support as many people as I can with the skills I have developed over the years. My primary qualification is in Art Psychotherapy, and I also have skills in dialectical behavioural therapy, dyadic developmental psychotherapy, transactional analysis and mindfulness. I would describe my practice as integrative and my approach as humanistic and creative. I am friendly and easy going, yet guiding and thoughtful.
I will support you to use creative methods to explore your circumstances and deeper feelings, whether this is through art making, metaphors, writing or conversations, it is about finding what works for you and your unique circumstances. The aim of creative methods is to explore what might be beyond words, or hard to describe, sometimes using images, and metaphors can allow access to the difficulties that are really hard to reach and allow us to process and work through them together.
I am offering sessions to anyone over the age of 13 years. Currently I am providing on line sessions, or telephone. This means that I can reach more people and offer lower rates.
I have experience of supporting people with the following difficulties and dilemmas (however if you do not identify with anything on this list and would like me to support you, please call, and we discuss whether we can make it work):
- Relationships
- Social anxiety
- Addiction
- Anger and behaviour challenges
- Mental health
- Family dynamics
- LGBTQI+ (with lived experience)
- Adoption and care experiences
- Work dynamics
- Trauma experiences (historical abuse/sexual trauma/DV)
- Understanding emotions
- Autism and learning difficulties
Beyond one to one work, I have been involved with developing trauma informed organisations and can offer supervision and reflective practice for teams and/or individuals.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
